IPMS/USA Web Masters
Greetings, Region Six! What a year 2006 turned out to be. As the curtain falls on the current calendar year I find myself
looking forward to 2007. Please make sure to take a minute to swing by the Events page and see what we have in store for
the upcoming year.

The biggest announcement that I have at this time is the IPMS/North Central Texas will be the host chapter for the 2007
Region Six Convention. I was pleased when they contacted me regarding hosting the event as they have always had a
Class A local event and have done a fantastic job when they have been selected for the ReCon. The location for this year's
event has been moved for those whose horses know the way to Scalefest. This year NCT's Scalefest/R6 event will be held
at the Grapevine Convention Center. You can stop by the NCT webpage for more information. I look forward to getting down
there in May, fellas. I'll know it will be yet another "can't miss" event.

But before we get too far ahead we have two events coming up really quickly. First, IPMS/SWAMP will be hosting
CALMEX 21 in Lake Charles, LA on January 28th. I just popped over to their web site and they should be posting a page
for the event soon. Until then you can contact Matt LeBlanc via email at drgrce69@cox-internet.com.

Next up will be Model Fiesta XXVI hosted by IPMS/Alamo Squadron in sunny San Antonio, TX on February 17th. They
have a web page up to answer all of your questions and see who you need to contact for more info. If'n it ain't bein' thar'.
(That's about the best Texan I can do, guys.) Just point your magic Internet browser to
http://alamosquadron.com/modelfiesta%2026.htm.

Well, folks, I guess I need to cut this off before I hear any snoring. I hope everyone has a safe, fun and happy New Year.
Take care and I'll be seeing you around!
